He leads global research on emerging infectious diseases and co-founded the Neglected Parasite Initiative to combat cryptosporidiosis. He has authored over 350 publications and advances drug development for neglected tropical diseases.
Kayode K. Ojo, PhD, is a Research Professor of Medicine at the University of Washington. Born in Lagos, Nigeria, he leads NIH-funded research on cryptosporidiosis and other parasitic diseases. A mentor and diversity advocate, he is widely published and active in advancing drug discovery for neglected tropical diseases.
Tim is a quality assurance, clinical research and project management professional with over 15 years of experience across academia and industry. He serves as President of ORCA and as a Research Coordinator at the University of Washington Sexual Health Clinic, and co-founded the Neglected Parasite Initiative to advance solutions for cryptosporidiosis.
